About the course

Unlock the power of participatory evaluation with our online course designed to enhance your monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) expertise. Besides the four main modules about MSC, this course contains two bonus modules; one on Photo-MSC (an innovative combination of MSC and Photovoice) and one on MSC and decolonisation.

Practical and Real-World Application

This course provides hands-on, practical training on the Most Significant Change technique, enabling participants to immediately apply it in real-world scenarios. Whether you're working in monitoring and evaluation, community development, or organisational learning, you'll learn how to collect and analyse stories of significant change directly from stakeholders, making your evaluations more qualitative, participatory, and impactful.

Enhances Storytelling and Impact Measurement Skills

By focusing on the MSC technique, the course enhances your ability to capture and communicate the qualitative impact of projects and programs. Participants will learn how to effectively gather and use powerful stories to demonstrate changes, which are often overlooked by traditional quantitative methods. This skill is invaluable for creating compelling reports and presentations that resonate with donors, stakeholders, and community members.

Flexible Learning with Expert Guidance

As an online course, it offers flexibility, allowing you to learn at your own pace and on your schedule. Despite being online, it includes interactive components such as live practice and Q&A sessions, feedback assignments, and direct access to experts in the field of monitoring and evaluation. This ensures that you not only understand the theoretical aspects of MSC but also receive support in practically implementing it within your specific context.
